In today’s modern age of rush and hurry sometimes it is all too easy to neglect our daily prayers to God.
We all have the best intentions but sometimes it does not seem possible to find even 5 minutes each day to spend in quiet solitude and give thanks for the Grace of home and family.
However, we CAN do something about this. Everything we do in our day is the result of putting a thought into action. This means that if we can get into the routine of putting thoughts about making time prayer , into our minds before we fall asleep, we can reprogram ourselves and our priorities.
Such small steps can certainly help us achieve the goal of making prayer a continuous part of our daily lives.
Why not set yourself a challenge? Each night before you go to sleep make a commitment to yourself that you will get up ten minutes earlier and commune with God before your busy day starts.
Studies shows that it takes about 30 days for a change of behavior to become a habit., so one month from now just imagine how much better and how much more in tune with God you will feel.
Are you going to give this a try? Go on! I Challenge you!
Psalm 5:3 (NIV)
“In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.”
